On the first day of the New Year, the 101st Rose Bowl Game will be played between the Oregon Ducks and the Florida State Seminoles in Pasadena, California. The game, which is scheduled to begin at 2 p.m. local time, will serve as a semifinal match for the new College Football Playoff, with the College Football Playoff Championship game to be played on January 12, 2015 at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. Prior to the game, both the Oregon and Florida State football programs will participate in the traditional Lawry’s Beef Bowl in Beverly Hills and the Disney Media Day at Disneyland, Anaheim, and will be treated to The LA Improv in Hollywood. The Rose Bowl Hall of Fame ceremony luncheon will also take place at the Pasadena Convention Center, and will introduce Knute Rockne, Dick Vermeil, and Ki-Jana Carter as the Rose Bowl Hall of Fame Class of 2014.
For those considering driving to Pasadena for the game or pre-game festivities, be advised: traffic is expected to be dense in and around Pasadena from 10 a.m. to noon on Thursday morning, and Rose Bowl authorities have said a $40 parking charge will apply to all vehicles. To avoid the stressful traffic jams and the criminally-overpriced parking on game day, reserve your ride to the Rose Bowl with Prestige Limousine today; we’ll get you to the game safely and comfortably! Go Ducks! (Or ‘Noles!)
